About Me & A Little Bit About My Family
My name is Sally and I've been married to Ross for coming 31 years. We have two wonderful children, Mandy who's 25 and Brad who is 23.
After renovating an historical 100 year old church on our previous property, it was suggested to me that I should become a celebrant. It had been something that I had been thinking about and with a number of couples wishing to have me help them, the decision was easy.

My first wedding and civil union both took place in 2007. And it was while I was officiating at a wedding in January 2009 that the guys taking a video of the service asked if I took funeral services? "No" was my reply as it hadn't occurred to me to take on this challenge. But after much discussion with family and others; I took on this very rewarding endeavor and took my first service at the end of 2009.
Life has been busy for us as a family. We moved from our lovely home in Flints Bush to Invercargill; spending a couple of years helping with my parents who both suffered from some form of dementure. They have both since passed away, a month apart, 10 years ago.
We seem to have been 'doing up' houses 'for ever' and are currently on our FINAL mission on an old home that we relocated and moved to our 14 acre block on the outskirts of town. Currently, we live in the garage!
A love of animals, we have accumulated quite a few. At present we have horses, cats, dogs, an aviary of different types of birds and doves.
My involvement within the community over the years has been with:
